We haven’t tried this ourselves, but word is iJailbreak, an iPod touch version of Jailbreak for Intel Macs, has been released for download. Not only is this awesome in its own right, but it was apparently written by Arix, a 13 years-old hacker! At this point it is only reported to work with Intel Macs. It works. Confirmed on a 1.1.1 ipod touch. I have mail, installer, maps, stocks, weather working

I have it working too, but I don’t know where to get the iPhone apps from they are not in the Installer.app list. I have version 2.63 by the way.

Tried on my Ipod touch but from my PowerMac G5. Not working on PPC. Had to do hard reset of Ipod touch to get everything back in line. Would not synch with Itunes giving error (-18).
Still need to look for PPC version
